I have been working with glass since 2003. As a child I loved making jewelry, designs, shapes, playing with color and most of all creating. After graduating high school I did not take the road to art school but did ponder it. Instead I received a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology with a Minor in Fine Arts from Quinnipiac University and a Master's Degree in Education from UMASS. While pursuing my degrees I never stopped creating jewelry.

I always had an admiration for glass and while teaching school I decided to take the plunge and sign up for an introductory class in glass bead making at the Worcester Center for Crafts. I instantly fell in love with the glass medium. I began exploring how to capture the images of my imagination and turn them into tiny sculptures in the shape of beads using an oxygen propane torch and glass rods.

Creating my own beads brought a new twist to my work complimenting the semi-precious stones, freshwater pearls, crystal and metals that I have always used. I am self taught in metals and my wirework is all molded by hand. All of my jewelry is one-of-a-kind which keeps the creative juices flowing and what keeps my work alive and exciting.
